Seeing Biology and Medicine through the "eyes" of Chemistry

We are an interdisciplinary group merging Chemistry, Biology and Medicine to develop the next generation of Dynamic Activatable Fluorophores (DYNAFLUORS) as imaging probes for molecular events associated to infection, inflammation and cancer.

We lead the Translational Chemistry theme and the IRR Chemistry Hub at the College of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine in Edinburgh to deliver new chemical technologies for understanding mechanisms of disease and improving patient stratification in the clinic.
